Welcome to River View, a beautiful cottage with great views and a 2 minute walk to the charming Masham Town Square.
Perfect for your family get away, or a cozy break away for two, pets are welcome too!
It's spacious, has everything you need and in a super location, right in the heart of North Yorkshire where there is an abundance of places to visit and explore during your stay with us!

This charming and spacious Georgian cottage spans four floors and offers stunning elevated views over the River Ure. While the mature trees have partially obscured the river view over the years, the landscape remains breathtaking.

Stepping inside, you're greeted by a bright hallway that leads to the generous living room. Here, you can unwind with a lovely view of the rear garden, enjoying the comfort of plush sofas, a Smart TV, and a cozy wood burner. Whether you're sipping a glass of wine or a comforting cup of tea, it's the perfect setting to relax after a day exploring the amazing places North Yorkshire has to offer!

Venture downstairs to the lower ground floor, where a fully equipped kitchen awaits, complete with integrated appliances, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, and the warmth of underfloor heating. French doors open out to the private rear garden, inviting the morning sun. The spacious dining area, which seats up to six guests, is ideal for planning your day's adventures over breakfast or enjoying an evening meal together while reminiscing about the day's experiences.

Step outside into the serene garden, where an outdoor table and seating area create the perfect spot for morning coffee, alfresco dining, or a BBQ whilst simply soaking up the tranquility of the area. For our cycling enthusiasts, there is secure storage for bikes. The enclosed garden is also a safe for children and pets, making it perfect for families with four-legged companions.

The main bathroom is located on the lower ground floor. Although it may not be ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, it features a modern vanity sink, a bathtub with a shower, and comes with fresh white towels and complimentary toiletries, including handwash, body wash, and shampoo—whether you're in the mood for a quick shower or a long soak.

As you make your way up the stairs from the hallway, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms and a WC. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers twin beds, however both rooms can be arranged as king sized doubles or twin upon request. Continue up to the second floor to discover the third bedroom, complete with a double bed and stunning views.

On street parking is available outside the cottage, should these be occupied, you can safely pull up to unload your belongings and then park in Masham Town Square, donations to the honesty box are encouraged.

Please note Market days are on Wednesday & Saturdays.

Entry to the cottage is through the gated front garden, with the door located to the side of the cottage, away from the road.

Guests have full use of the entire cottage and garden for the duration of the stay.

Please keep in mind this cottage is set across four floors and therefore may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment.
